Welcome to the “Become a Top Wedding Planner” Blog. The goal of this blog is to help new wedding planners learn how to start and run a wedding planning business.

My name is Sharon Hill.  I’ve been running my own event planning business for over eleven years. Prior to owning my own business, I was the event manager for one of the biggest telecommunications companies in the nation. When I first went out on my own, I didn’t know anything about starting a business and marketing to make it successful. I also had a lot to learn about planning social events and weddings. I made a lot of mistakes and spent a lot of money on things that didn’t help me be successful. I don’t want that to happen to anyone else so I created this blog to share information with new wedding planners.
