Become a Top Wedding Planner – Find Expert Advice in “Town and Country Weddings Magazine”

One of my favorite bridal magazines for elegant wedding ideas is Town and Country Weddings, it’s actually a supplement to Town and Country magazine, which I think is important to read if you aspire to work with high-end weddings.

The Fall/Winter 2010 issue features real weddings and gives ideas on how you and your bride can create similar looks. This is very helpful when a bride sees something she must have.

But the most helpful information from the magazine for you may be the “Expert Advice” section in which famous wedding planners answer questions about weddings and wedding etiquette.

In one question, a bride was concerned that guests would leave right after the cake ceremony. Wedding designer Marcy Blum suggested the groom make his toast right after the cake cutting and tell guests, “the party is just starting.” She also suggested telling friends to spread the word that the partying would continue after the cake ceremony.

One interesting question was from a bride who asked what she could expect a wedding planner to do when it came to family issues and unusual requests. Celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss answered that she has dealt with a lot of awkward situations and is used to be the “bad cop.” New York planner Francesca Abbracciamento said planners handle everything from logistics to emotional family problems and to ask for anything, the planner can just say no. (Don’t forget that you can that!)

The magazine just came out so you can find it on the newstands. In addition to the great articles, it features some very lovely wedding gowns.
