On the first Monday in September, Americans and Canadians celebrate a legal holiday, Labor Day. (Americans chose the first Monday in September because it is half way between the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving). It is a day which is set aside to pay tribute to working men and women.

As wedding planners running your own business, you probably don’t take many days off, even holidays.

However, I hope you do take at least a few hours off today to relax, get in a last trip to the beach or a picnic with family and friends before the day is done.
