Become a Top Wedding Planner – Promote Your Wedding Planning Business When You Send E-mail

There’s a quick, free way to promote your wedding planning business in your emails and it is with your email signature. The signature is the information that you put at the bottom of each email. Many signatures I have seen only have the wedding planner’s name and a link to their website.  But you can do more.

Here are 5 suggestions:

1) Add your logo or your photograph.

2) Ask readers to “Connect with me” on Facebook  and Twitter and put links to your accounts.

3) Ask readers to “Join me on my blog” and post a link to it.

4) Offer a free consultation, a free report or a subscription to your ezine and put a link to the page where they can sign up.

5) Instead of  using the default “Sent from my iPhone” or “Sent from my Blackberry” signatures when you send from your phone, change them to something that will promote your business. Go to these sites to learn how to do it for the iPhone and the Blackberry.

Most email programs, like Microsoft Outlook, allow you to customize a signature that will appear on every email that you send out. You can also create an email signature on Wisestamp.

Adding a promotional signature to your emails gives people additional ways to learn more about you and your services, and the better they know you, the more likely they are to hire you.

Thank you for this article!! I had just spent the better part of the morning redoing my email signature and adding it to my blog pages. I had no idea I could do the same to my blackberry! Kudos for sharing.

    Hi Celeste,

Thanks for your comment, I’m glad that I provided useful information.

I get a lot of emails that say “Sent from my iPhone.” Let’s promote ourselves not our phones.

    Sharon
