Become a Top Wedding Planner – Learn to Create Your Bride’s Wedding Vision from David Tutera

David Tutera, event designer, wedding planner, designer of Disney’s Couture Collection, co-creator, with Faviana, of a wedding dress collection and star of WEtv’s “My Fair Wedding”, offers wedding planning advice to brides in his “Ask David” column in Bridal Guide magazine. In the July/August 2010  issue, David talks about storytelling and tells brides and grooms to share their stories to create their weddings. The stories help set the themes for the weddings and elements of the themes appear in the venue, decor, food, drink, tabletops, videos and favors.

David asks couples to answer some questions to help bring out their story. Here are his questions, they will also help you start to get the information you need to create your brides’ dream weddings:

1) “How did you meet your fiance?”

2) “Where did he propose?”

3) “What are your favorite foods, flowers, and colors?”

4) “How to you envision the theme and style of your wedding?”

5) “What would you want your music to be?”

A new season of  “My Fair Wedding” starts June 6 and you’ll get to see David in action and get ideas on how to work with your brides. He also recently published a book, The Big White Book of Weddings: A How-to Guide for the Savvy, Stylish Bride, which will give you ideas for carrying out the visions your brides have for their weddings.
