Become a Top Wedding Planner – Keep Readers on Your Blog When Using YouTube Videos

Did you know that photos and videos on your blog offer entertainment and entice readers to return?

Last week I put some YouTube videos on my blog.  Someone noticed that they did not have any links to related videos at the end, as YouTube videos usually do, and wondered what happened to them and how they could do it.

The reason they didn’t appear is I put in a code so they wouldn’t.  I didn’t want anyone clicking out and leaving my site.  You should do this when you put YouTube videos on your blog also.

Here is how to do it:

Take the URL the YouTube gives you to use the video on your site, for instance, for my video below the URL is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw5wzdm0RaM

Then add &rel=0 (0 is zero) to the end of it so it looks like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw5wzdm0RaM&rel=0

And the result is a video without links to related videos that looks like this:

Now readers won’t have the option of leaving to see related videos.
