Become a Top Wedding Planner – Steal These Ideas from a Celebrity Wedding – Bachelorette Jen Schefft

Wedding Planning Ideas from Details of Jen Schefft's Wedding

You’ll find a number of great wedding planning ideas from the wedding of television’s Bachelorette Jen Schefft to Joe Waterman. Details are in the June 1, 2009 issue of US Weekly magazine.  Here are some ideas you can steal and use for your brides:

  • The venue for the ceremony was a private dining room at a restaurant.
  • The pre-reception cocktail party was in another room at the restaurant.  The reception was back in the ceremony room, it had been totally transformed into a dining room with candle-lit tables.
  • The color scheme was black and white.  The bride wore a white dress with a black sash and black pumps.  The bridesmaids wore black.  The reception chairs were black and white.
  • Centerpiece flowers were pink and purple hydrangeas, tulips, and peonies.

The magazine is filled with photos of the wedding including the four-tiered red velvet wedding cake, frosted with cream cheese and decorated with black satin ribbons and the M&M’s printed with their photo that were their wedding favors.

I get all of my wedding and reception inspirations from Preston Bailey and David Tutera, their designs, inspirations and the passion of making their brides dream wedding into a dream come true is always inspiring to me. My dream for 2010 is to become an international professional event/wedding planner of platinum events/weddings. The reason why I use the word platinum is because I love the height of the center pieces, the colors, the glimmer and the lighting is owe so dramastic.
