Become a Top Wedding Planner – Steal Wedding Binder and Portfolio Ideas from Martha Stewart Weddings

Ideas for Wedding Planners from Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine

About a month ago I blogged about keeping all wedding planning information in client binders. The Winter 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine shows ideas for a bride’s binder that you can steal and use for your client binders and even your portfolio.

Here are the ideas:

  • Use clear protector sheets to hold bills
  • Get clear plastic trading card pages, usually used for baseball or other sport cards, and use them to hold business cards, color swatches and other small items
  • Use clear plastic coin or photo slide pages to hold even smaller items
  • Buy heavy paper card stock and glue swatches and ribbons to them or cut slits in the paper and use a decorative paperclip to secure the items
  • Keep everything in a cloth-covered binder

You can find protector sheets at most office supply stores. Stores that sell items to keep collections of cards and coins sell plastic trading card and coin pages. You can find card stock and cloth binders at most craft and scrapbooking shops both online and in your local area.

Remember to keep everything in your binders and portfolios neat, clean, and well-organized.

If you haven’t checked out this issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, be sure you do. This is her 15th anniversary issue and she has many photos of ideas from past issues that you might have missed.
