Become a Top Wedding Planner – Supermodel Bride Theme on “My Fair Wedding”

Celebrity wedding planner David Tutera’s show, “My Fair Wedding,” returned on Sunday with a bride who wanted her wedding to be filled with over-the-top bling. Her table full of wedding accessories included rhinestone covered pens, glitter balls and a leopard printed cloth covered with sequins.

David took her bling concept and changed her into a supermodel bride. She and her bridesmaids were taught how to walk on a catwalk and given a fashion photo session in full makeup and their bridal attire. Tthe bride was given a gown from David’s own bridal collection (see above) and the six bridesmaids each wore a different metallic couture gown by Deanzign.

The wedding itself took place under a tent on the grounds of the Petersen Auto Museum. David divided the tent in half with draping. The ceremony was set up to look like the inside of a tent at a fashion show during Fashion Week in New York City. The space was totally white: chairs, drapes, stage and runway. There were no flowers since a fashion show would not have floral arrangements. The bridesmaids and brides walked down the runway instead of an aisle and the ceremony took place right on stage.

The reception side was also all done in white and truly blinged-out. Crystal chandeliers hung from the top of the tent.

The triple-long dining tables each had five crystal candelabras that were draped with crystal ropes,

The flower arrangements were hydrangea, calla lilies and crystals.

The wedding cake also was white and decorated with crystals.

You might not want to plan a “fashion show” wedding when you have a bride who loves bling but you can take some of David’s over-the-top ideas and translate them into budget-friendly ones that will work for your bride.
