Become a Top Wedding Planner – Two Weddings in One Family? Tips From a Top Planner on Making Each Special

Looks like 2011 will be a big year for royal weddings in the UK. First, Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement and now Prince William’s cousin, Zara Phillips, has announced her engagement . Another cousin, Princess Beatrice, is rumored to also be engaged.

What would you advise your bride to do if she had other family members planning weddings within a short time frame?

Top London wedding planner, Mark Niemierko, had these suggestions that you can pass to your brides who are in the same situation:

1) Put some time between weddings

The bride should have the opportunity for family and friends to concentrate just on her and her wedding by making sure her wedding date isn’t too close to the other bride’s.

2) Choose a different style wedding

To avoid comparisons, Niemierko suggests Zara have a country wedding to contrast with Prince William’s London event.

This is where your expertise comes in. You can help your bride select the style and theme that best suits her personality and suggest a unique venue for her wedding.

3) Don’t worry about what the other bride will wear

Your bride should concentrate on her own style and not worry about someone else.
