Become a Top Wedding Planner – Wedding Theme Ideas from Traditional Home Magazine

Traditional Home, March 2009

I know you are busy working on becoming a top wedding planner and may not keep up with all of your magazines.  There is one you might want to take a look at this month, it’s the March 2009 issue of Traditional Home magazine.  Their regular department, On the Table, features decorations for a pink-themed Quinceanera, the Hispanic celebration for 15 year old girls, that you can use for your weddings.

Here are some of the ideas:

  • A front door decoration that matches the theme colors of the event.  A wreath or other decor at the door of the ceremony site would be a nice touch to welcome guests.
  • Instead of tablecloths, use Indian saris and placemats.
  • Frames showing the guest of honor with each of the party guests are used as place cards.  You can use this idea at a small wedding or a rehearsal dinner.  Put a photo of the bride or groom with the guest in a frame and use it as a placecard.

To see photos of event, pick up a copy of the magazine or go to the website of the designers, www.doorcouture.com.  You’ll also find more ideas for door decorations on this site.
