Become a Top Wedding Planner – Wedding Themes Based on Movies

Getting wedding themes from movies is very popular. I received a lot of e-mail after my post about using a horror movie theme so I thought I’d mention three movies that are very popular with brides:
Dr. Zhivago – the white winter wedding. The photo above is from the 1998 wedding of Joan Rivers’ daughter, Melissa. A ballroom at a New York hotel was transformed by florist and event designer Preston Bailey and Bentley Meeker Lighting & Staging Inc. into a winter wonderland.
Gone with the Wind – one of the most famous romantic movies, perfect if the location resembles antebellum mansion. The bride and her attendants would wear a full-skirted dresses, favors can be personalized fans, and keep the decor very romantic with lots of flowers.
The Notebook – a 1940’s theme. The bride can wear a 40’s style gown, use music from the era and the favor can be a notebook with a photo and the love story of the bride and groom.
Watch these movies and get ideas for wedding themes for your brides.
