Hi Tonia,

I think direct mail works best when you are mailing to brides from a list that you have created and you use it along with other forms of marketing. For instance is you exhibit at a bridal fair, collect contact information, send out an e-newsletter and also postcards. This way you keep in front of the brides. Also, don't just do one mailing, plan a series so you get their attention.

As with all marketing material, make sure it looks professional and represents your company well.

I don't recommend buying lists, they are often outdated and inaccurate.

Hi Tonia,

I actually didn't blog about it, I posted a link to the site through my amplify.com account. Here is the link http://sharonhill.amplify.com/2010/06/24/wedding-planners-also-interested-in-wedding-and-event-design-take-a-course-from-preston-bailey/

They recently decided to offer a payment plan to make it easier to afford.

Thanks for writing!

[...] Wedding planning isn’t the only service you can offer to brides. Many planners offer other services and products to give their clients a “one stop shop”. However, really think about the extras you are offering and make sure they don’t distract from your main business of planning weddings. Here is the reason I’m writing about this. The other day I was doing some research on the Internet. I came across an article I thought was going to be about ideas wedding planners could use to increase revenu Source: http://becomeatopweddingplannerblog.com/expanding-your-wedding-planning-business/ [...]
