Wedding Planning – Color Palettes for Weddings

If you’re passionate about being a wedding planner you also have a passion for fashion, style and color. If you sometimes need help offering advice to brides about color palettes, there is a website that gives you information on the fashion color trends for Spring 2009, http://tinyurl.com/3pmpsu. The colors featured were taken from the collections shown during New York Fashion Week, September 5 – 12, 2008. Bridal fashions, linens and floral design take inspiration from fashion trends so it’s always good to keep an eye on Fashion Week.

Websites and blogs of wedding invitation artists often feature inspiration boards with color ideas for weddings. My favorites are at http://www.mypersonalartist.com/weddingcolors2.html. Take a look at the site’s most popular colors for Spring and Summer 2009; Tiffany blue, cornflower blue, clover green, apple, orange, watermelon, gold, chocolate and black + white, and get inspiration for the color palettes you’ll help your brides to create.
